Been one of those days again!! Went to sada this afternoon and managed to get some woopsies, got the reducing lad to reduce them a little more no harm in asking, so I got everything at 10%.Just cooking some lamb neck fillet, paid 93p for 2 bits!!
When I got home I was knackered as it was a 5 mile walk there and back and without my boot it took me 3 hrs!! I'm now aching all over!!
I had to take some rubbish to the bin but I wish i hadn't, 'cos when I opened the bin I saw that my wife had chucked a load of stuff in there before clearing off. So I decided to see what she'd thrown away, then I saw it.... the photo album of our wedding! I'm now looking at it and keep wondering how and where it all went wrong, I'm in bits! She wont answer the phone or return texts and I don't know where she's living. I'm feeling really down right now.
Sorry.
scamps i'm so so sorry, that must feel so awful. I think many of us on here have stories in our past with similarities, but you have to feel the pain sometimes to appreciate the good things. Allow yourself to wallow occasionally in it, just not all the time, and it sounds like you are getting on with things. Like many on here, I wish I could do something to help, but send my best wishes:hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:0 -

Sorry.
Scamps, I'm so sorry for what you're going through.
Just think for a moment. Was it your wife that chucked your wedding album in the bin? or more likely your hateful mil:mad:

With regards to the M&S vouchers, I have a couple of the m&s leaflets with the vouchers in, and there are vouchers valid to 31st January in them, going in the recycle bin, as I will only use 1 :-)0 -

If you're on a Mac, there's a utility (in the Applications folder) called Grab.
Or if you're really stuck, just take a piccie of the screen.
HTH
PS also odd was that some people were reporting back at £18.99 and some at £19.99'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Scamps - keep your chin up hun if you can. This behaviour from your wife & MIL is because they are trying to make you look the bad guy when its them that are behaving badly.
They will only win if you let them. Keep your cool - and don't let them get to you.0 -
yes, it's yiddish...I love words like this...even make up my own, such "schlope off" instead of "slope off" for example!
Sorry locarr, reading backwards and only just noticed your post.
Now you've got me thinking about Yiddish words.
How about- Shmalz - which is melted fat, as people been talking about using melted fat to feed birds but can also be used instead of Cheesy - Shmalzy
Chutzpah, pronounced - Hootspah - meaning having a lot of nerve/cheek/being overly confident
And for anyone with a cold - Gazuntite - which literally means good health, but is used as - God Bless you0 -
On an unrelated matter, a star from one of my fave TV shows back in the day has passed away.

Hi scamps I am so sorry you found the wedding album in the bin. I can understand you having a low day and doing lots of reflecting it can be very difficult. I think it is worth remembering that it is partly her family who have broke the relationship down and you do not think like them and never will so I think you never get your head around why they are treating you like this.
You have to remember your family and friends love you for who you are and this is something to think about as well. Please keep talking to your friends and posting on here when you have a low moment. These feelings are perfectly normal when a relationship breaks down and you need support when you feel like this.Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.0
