I've lost my mojo:o Has anyone seen it?
Went to Morries last week and managed to time it perfectly for whoopsies - OMG they had virtually all reductions down to 5p, 9p and 15p! Bang went my resolution to run the freezers down in order to partake of the Dr Oetkers. All freezers are now bulging with Quiche, Pork Pies, Speciality breads etc. etc.
Only went to Morries to spend my remaining 2x£10 vouchers but 49 items came to just £6:eek:
I did go to Tescos Saturday to see if I could find some light bulbs and all the other goodies you've been getting. I managed to get some Halogen ones at £1 but on 3 for 2. The others on a shelf haphazardly thrown there - shelf marked with 10p & 25p SEL's that I tried to buy wouldn't scan - unrecognised so they wouldn't sell me them. Guess they went in compactor? Nothing at our useless T's, got sick of running to tills asking them how much was this (no scanners) so left with milk that I needed & 6 light bulbs.
TBH if I hadn't needed milk I wouldn't have bothered.
I know I REALLY need to run the freezers down. I found 4 pork joints before Christmas that I didn't realise I had & I don't really like Pork much, 2 beef joints - we rarely eat beef, 1 lamb leg and numerous amounts of chicken breast joints. We will get through the chicken but I'd actually prefer to use Quorn in curry, lasagne etc. I have a shortage of Quorn and it's at a good price now - what's the betting when I've enough room it'll be full price?
Maybe I'll abstain from shopping for anything except milk & fresh fruit & veggies for a month or two and see if it's possible to regain my mojo? I'm sure we have gracious plenty of everything else to do this.0 -

Cutting cloth into squares to make washable toilet roll
There was one on a few weeks ago where a woman refuses to buy toilet roll and so keeps a small empty bottle by the toilet which she fills with water and then "flushes" herself after going - no wiping...... if she has - as she put it in such a ladylike manner - "had a dump", she then also uses a teeny tiny piece of soap (like the size of a 10p piece) to clean herself. Delightful.

I generally start each day with a couple of low carb sausages or a 2 egg omelette, then some kind of salad for lunch, maybe ham, chicken, cheese, egg or prawn with plenty of lettuce and cucumber and a few cherry tomatoes.
Evening might be a chicken breast wrapped in bacon or some mushrooms in a creamy cheese sauce. I sometimes slice up some bubb's beef and have a thin steak or two with mushrooms.
As a special treat sometimes I can have some sugar free jelly and yummy cream or crème fraiche.
It is a strange diet where I am very rarely hungry. Yesterday I didn't eat all day till 5:30 and had three thin slices of roast beef, a few green beans and a few florets of broccoli. Today I had a couple of sausages at 10:00 and have skipped lunch as I am not hungry.
Only problems with this diet are that it really is a bloke's diet, if you haven't done it before you tend to get headaches for the first two or three days and you end up with whiffy breath if you're not careful..:o
Good luck with your diet, although don't go too far. Remember, you need a bit of flab in there so the bikinis fit properly and the boobies don't fall out..:rotfl:[/QUOTE
My step dad does this and it suits him well. I agree it is very much a mans diets.
He makes some chocolates with cream and coco powder that he is allowed to eat.
Mum finds it hard to cook 2 meals every night as she doesnt eat red meat or eggs.
Good luck it obviously suits you.

Afternoon guys ,
Not sure if it has been mentioned but anyone venturing out to get the 25 extra cc points for the veg, it is wyb 3 packs, not per pack! It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Same boat here! Trouble for me is i feel so lucky that my locals do great whoopsies its really hard to not pop over and see whats going for almost nowt! I have 4 massive xmas chickens, 3 huge pork loins and about 10 massive gammons to see to and there are only 3 of us and dd eats v little meat! I would love more fruit and veg really but it seems to be meat and such that my local over orders. I am going to try and be uber picky and only take home what we really use often and let some other bargain hunters deal with the meat pile haha!
When I go home to my mums in scotland and try for whoopsies for her I realise how lucky we are here so I am definatly NOT complaining about the opportunities just my lack of willpower.0
