  • There was one on a few weeks ago where a woman refuses to buy toilet roll and so keeps a small empty bottle by the toilet which she fills with water and then "flushes" herself after going - no wiping...... if she has - as she put it in such a ladylike manner - "had a dump", she then also uses a teeny tiny piece of soap (like the size of a 10p piece) to clean herself. Delightful.

    :eek::eek::eek:

    The mind boggles!

Just remembered more - she seemed to have a decent enough job (something in IT) but every single piece of furniture in her apartment she had found on the street - her bed was two yoga mats piled one on top of the other with a sheet over them. She went dumpster-diving for all her food and even changed into a old t-shirt with holes in it so she could pass as a "bum" in case any of the store managers approached her while she was doing it!

Great, isn't it? I inherited it years ago from a Jewish friend (sounds like a Yiddish word to me), she used to use it all the time.:)

yes, it's yiddish...I love words like this...even make up my own, such "schlope off" instead of "slope off" for example!

    [opens cologne cabinet]
Ron Burgundy: Wow. Never ceases to amaze me. What cologne you gonna go with? London Gentleman, or wait. No, no, no. Hold on. Blackbeard's Delight.
Brian Fantana: No, she gets a special cologne... It's called Sex Panther by Odeon. It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.
    Ron Burgundy: It's quite pungent.
    Brian Fantana: Oh yeah.
Ron Burgundy: It's a formidable scent... It stings the nostrils. In a good way.
    Brian Fantana: Yep.
Ron Burgundy: Brian, I'm gonna be honest with you, that smells like pure gasoline.
Brian Fantana: They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time. [cheesy grin]
Ron Burgundy: That doesn't make sense.

Can i ask, for all the peeps doing M&S shops, at what point does the SA come over to authorize the alcohol? Is it as soon as scanned or at the end of the shop when awaiting payment?

Is it best to scan the alcohol first ?

Also, when you have scanned all products am i right in thinking that you then just scan the coupons next WITHOUT touching the screen? or do you have to touch "pay by coupon" or similar icon on screen?

    Hello everyone

Can I ask please has anyone received any H&M orders yet?

I have just logged into my account and it says no orders, it was there last week.

    Thanks
    Claire x

I've had one dispatch notice and one email sent telling me the order had been refused as it was below the minimum order value :rotfl:

Hiya bubbs, sorry you being mucked around by the docs. Hope you get sorted out soon.

I spent 2 hours in T's this morning :eek:scanning the hell outta everything :D by the time I made it home I had to turn around and go straight out to pick up my boy. Not the most productive morning I've had but well worth it :D
