Just remembered more - she seemed to have a decent enough job (something in IT) but every single piece of furniture in her apartment she had found on the street - her bed was two yoga mats piled one on top of the other with a sheet over them. She went dumpster-diving for all her food and even changed into a old t-shirt with holes in it so she could pass as a "bum" in case any of the store managers approached her while she was doing it!

Can i ask, for all the peeps doing M&S shops, at what point does the SA come over to authorize the alcohol? Is it as soon as scanned or at the end of the shop when awaiting payment?

Is it best to scan the alcohol first ?

Also, when you have scanned all products am i right in thinking that you then just scan the coupons next WITHOUT touching the screen? or do you have to touch "pay by coupon" or similar icon on screen?

I spent 2 hours in T's this morning :eek:scanning the hell outta everything by the time I made it home I had to turn around and go straight out to pick up my boy. Not the most productive morning I've had but well worth it
