They have been a member of MSE for much longer than me. :eek:

I'm sure they know they would be welcome to join in, I have mentioned before they should. And having met me in RL they know I don't bite. :rotfl:And I can vouch that a few others don't either.

I can't remember if I've mentioned already, but post no. 1 now back put right (apart from the Elite logo that I can't work out how to copy). Amazingly - I tried them a little earlier - the links work!

This week's M list (not yet finished) now on here - I didn't do very well this week did I? Seems to have gone out as rather a damb squib - I can't believe what I missed out now I've seen my earlier list again - but never mind, as I bet any of the gaps can be filled by the M online shop.

Short on my smilies again, as logged in and out, and I'm not blissfully unaware about Scamps either - my feelings with you.

I think that's it from me for now - I'll leave my thread in the capable hands of everyone else to go, go, go, post those glitches now we have over 9,000 posts remaining again!:):wave:

My wife comes from a very small family, her twin sister, parents, 2 nieces and her son. Her mother is very controlling and if anybody disagrees with her she'll shun them. We had 6 years of total bliss from 2004 to 2010 when my wife didn't speak to her parents. Since she got back to talking to her parents, I was 'tollerated' although they never gave my wife a moments peace about us, picking up on anything that was wrong like lack of money, not doing a car boot, just about anything she could think of just to have a go.
I'm not alone in this. Her sisters husband has had the same treatment and it was he who finally snapped 3 months ago and walked out after 15 yrs of marriage. My wife and her sister have been 'controlled' all their lives so it was just a matter of time.
I know she still loves me as I do her, but events have taken their toll. She's been told what and when to do it, so I feel no malice towards her, just pity.
I know she'll regret that things have happened this way, but I know that with the support I have on here and with friends, I'll be OK, I just hope she will!!

Sorry if this has turned into a 'war and peace' epic, and I know I didn't have to divulge this information. But it's good to get it out.

P.S. I have never had an affair in my life.

Thanks, scamps you don't have to explain yourself but I feel disappointed. I thought that you were having an affair with the Elite.
