Un Perroquet (French for 'parrot') is pastis (eg, Pernod/Ricard) with green mint syrup.
I use lemonade (or soda water) instead of water, so call it a Fizzy Parrot:)
So, pastis, green mint syrup, lemonade and ice .... too nice for words:o

Just had a call form my wifes niece. Apparently my wife is so heartbroken about the last few days and says she was pushed into all this by her mother, no kidding Einstein!! Been informed that my wife didn't want to leave and she still loves me but had no choice:huh:
She still wants us to have a relationship but without her mother knowing!! I'm 47 and she's 50 for f**ks sake. Her mother has always had a control over her and for this I have always tried to compensate. How the F do I deal with this one???
Hi Scamps, must have caught you off guard, call like that out of the blue!
I end to agree with QoC , while I understand it must have been difficult for your wife, with a mother like that, she was the one who emptied your joint account & cleaned you out. She didn't have to go to such measures, even if she'd made out to her mother that she had taken it all....and why take tax off of car just for a few quid?....and the insurance cancelled? I know you must care for her deep down, we can't just switch off, but please be careful, she may just be after your wardrobe;):rotfl:Womble Total 2014 - £31.05

I don't drink spirits at all, just wine and wine with bubbles :-D but aniseed and mint together sounds quite unusual0 -
