Glad you got your bits from somewhere. I have this camera (though cost me little more than you_ and it is really good. I like the SloMo video mode, the high speed shooting mode is good too. It also does just take nice pictures, and the zoom is lovely...Have fun with it.0 -

I went to T earlier and scanned this kettle with the hand held thingy http://www.tesco.com/direct/tesco-jkl11c-3kw-kettle/139-2762.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=516-1191 and it scanned at £2.50. It is £19.50 online.:D
I also used the scanner to scan a 16 pack of assorted Hula Hoops which had a sel for £1.50. They scanned at £3.70 each so I put them back and went back in for a special dtd shop afterwards.:D:D
I thought I was being clever and I checked the A price for Hula Hoops. They are 2 for £5, so I put 4 bags in my trolley and 10 other items to get a PP, hopefully for around £5. Ideally I was going to get all the crisps for free and make a £5 profit too.;)
I went to SS and the crisps scanned at £1.50 each!!:o
So, my questions for today are..
1. How can a hand held scanner and the SS scan at different prices within 20 minutes of each other?
2. Can you get DTD if you use the hand helds?
A couple of years ago I used to do a price audit (overt) for one of the big electrical chains. I used to scan random items with one of their own hand held scanners and check that the price agreed with the SEL - and sometimes the scanner gave a higher price. The Manager told me that they have 2 different system updates, one for the scanners etc and one for the main tills, and that they do not update at the same time (the tills update first) - he showed me how, even if the hand scanner gave a higher price, the till gave the same price as the SEL so the customer only got charged the SEL price IFYSWIM. Its possible T's have a similar system.ELITE 5:2
