    Good morning :)

It is particularly quiet this morning where is everyone?

Out buying or stuffing their faces with Ts chocolate. :naughty:

Ether M&S doing a meal deal or T searching for Xmas chocs I guess :D

Need to empty the car - the boot has quite a few bags of Xmas baubles, bottle bags, wrapping paper, gift tags and crackers etc. The S Xmas stock clearance this week was fab, most things 10p. I think i was the only one buying them in my store as the SEL was wrong. All the better for me :j:rotfl:

Good morning all. How is everyone?

Just done the cooking for today so a chilled out day now. Will be going to the gym this arvo. Wish me luck. Almost couldn't walk back home when I finished yesterday.

Has anyone ever tried L-CARNITINE tablets to help get rid of curvey bits? I got some yesterday but unsure if I should use them and whether they will work or not. The woman in the shop was all guns blazing saying it will definitely work.

Have a faberoonie Friday everyone. It's almost the weekend. Hurrah!

Of course the woman in the shop is going to be all guns blazing. She's probably on commission

Sorry lovely. Dont waste your time. When it comes down to it, there is only one way of getting rid of curvy bits. Eat less and exercise more. Thats all it comes down to.

  • It always amazed me the depth of knowledge of the Elite, sorry this lost me at 'not a number' when my anxiety level raised rapidly resulting in my brain shutting down totally, only revived by a cuppa and a kiss. :D:D:D:D

The appear to cost £2.50 a pk and are on special offer at £4 for 2 pks
does anyone know what they look like please? :D

It is a good job you did not have my mum with you... she would have been shouting thief! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I was exactly the same when I read about "not a number" :rotfl: I also have a cuppa next to me :D

Found this coupon for M&S in T0sco of all places! I was wondering if it might work with the others. It looks like it was a BP offer each coupon = £2 can use up to 5 coupons, has to be a £10 spend.

Also was in Mr Shoes this morning as I have been keeping an eye on an Angel gift set that was £50 and reduced to £33.32, hoping to see it going down but this morning there was only one left and as the perfume that is in the set is £49 by itself I didn’t want to risk the last set going, so I got it. I asked the SA at the till if prices were likely to go down again and she said they had only gone down on Monday, so she didn’t think they would until the end of the month, but if it did go down I could bring it back get refunded and rebuy it. Not sure if gift sets would be in the 75% sale.

My guess is yes regarding the BP voucher - you have to try it but I wouldn't expect any problems. I was in the mk Centre at 845am doing my shop, easy peasy. Just remember to scan the vouchers BEFORE you press total. How fab, that would mean £5 for 2 £10 meal deals.... :D

If anyone is saving the Jusrol points they have just uploaded a new batch of the £5 supermarket gift cards. They go quickly so you need to be quick.

I have a few to input... When doing a shop in T, I explained the offer to DS2 and told him to get some through the self service. He asked 'how many' I stupidly replied 'as many as you can get'. He disappeared... I shopped.... we met at the end, he had done 8 shops..... Jus-rol is coming out of our ears, everyone we know has it in their freezer....:eek:

But the vouchers will be nice! :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Has anyone used their points to get anything other than £5 off vouchers? ;);)

  • Regarding my M&S trip earlier, I had my two coupons and credit card in my back pocket, ready to whip out, scan and pay super fast. I was the only one on SS and could see the young lad watching what I was doing. So I faffed around with getting out my shopping bags etc then three customers arrived at once. My scanning was then done at lightning speed. Never pressed total so fast in my life :rotfl:

  • Morning all

Snap I do love your pics they always make me :D or :rotfl:
    So thank you!

Spent most of my morning in the doctors surgery. My GP is a lovely lady which usually means she's running miles behind! So I'm not long out and now it's time to go and get DD from nursery and I've not even had my breakfast yet!

Gonna head for a wee wander round T's, picked up a couple of the 35p Cadbury bars but kicking myself for not getting more so gonna go back and hope the shelves haven't been cleared!

Hello every body, hope we are all having a good enough Friday.

Earlier in the week I got a £10 Marks voucher for lingerie and nightwear - I am in the Marks Premium club and I get these vouchers about 4 times a year.

I also realised I had another voucher with a code from the previous mailing which gave 200 marks points = £2 when you spent £25, expiring next day.The £10 voucher also had a code.

Anyway I thought Id give it a try with some vests including one from the sale and get it delivered to store.

The codes worked fine and I got my order down to £1 but the system refused to give me instore delivery. So I tried ringing marks all day, no reply. I tried them on twitter and facebook and then finally I got a message with a free delivery code :T

Of course by this time one of my vests had gone out of stock so I had to find something else but I found a sleep set with a vest top and shorts - ideal for weekends. So now my order was £4 but still not bad for 2 vest tops and a sleep set with £2 of points in my next mailing.

So my packet arrived today, all good and with it another voucher for £5 wys £35 on clothing, lingerie, beauty or homeware with a code only valid for the end 2 weeks in January. I am wondering though if you also got a £5 voucher from Oxfam (you can ask for one if you drop off a Marks item at a shop) and went through self scan you might get to use both.(not for clearance or food sadly)

I also got 2 cards, one has all the stamps completed for a free greetings card and one has one stamp on it.
I heard of people getting these cards before Christmas - its very easy to just junk all of the paper work not realising that you have them

So I take it that means a free greetings card which I supposed you could make as part of a £35 shop if you scan the bigger voucher in first ???

Also I am thinking that if you do manage to find a Marks free delivery code maybe its worth getting something cheap in the clearance sale - say tights, vest, underwear etc in the hope of getting one of these free greetings cards with your order.

(I assume if you have a delivery to store then you don't get these free greetings card things???)

Just had a lovely catch up over coffee at one of our elderly neighbours.

You can only enter 3 codes per week. But someone got some baking trays the other day and said they were really heavy duty
