Scam warning reminder
Hi
I recieved a letter today which claimed to be from Vodafone saying my direct debit had been cancelled and that if this was not the case to call them. I did not phone the number on the letter but used the number from the website as the letter looked a little fishy; turned out Vodafone did not write to me and that this was probably a scam attempting to get me to phone the number on the letter and give out my bank details.

Cowsnhope - That's a crafty scam indeed as most people won't expect a letter to be fake so it's a good idea to do as you did and look up the genuine phone number from the website.0
