Want to change package (no tv, no phone, just broadband)

So, we currently have a Virgin package with TV, phone and broadband.

Our current thoughts are we rarely watch TV so won't miss it. We both have mobile phones from work with various free minutes, we don't call Internationally. So we don't really need a landline. Plus there's always Skype.

Our current thoughts are all we really need is a broadband connection to our Samsung LED TV (it has an Ethernet port on the back) for 4OD whenever we want to see C4 news, take care of emails/work and a Netflix subscription.

We're thinking this could save us a bundle in getting rid of stuff we don't need, but wondered the following:
- Has anyone done this successfully? If so, what provider(s) did you choose?
- Did you find you saved money?
- Regrets?
