I've decided we can market the local parkrun as a beauty treatment - dermabrasion by sandblasting. It wasn't as fierce as last week, and I was "tail-runner" which means keeping the hindmost runner (or walker) company. That means I don't get to push myself to achieve a PB (personal best). However, I do help the hindmost runner to push themselves when they tire. Today's hindmost runner knocked a few seconds off her PB... after knocking off 3 minutes from her initial run last week.

Not an AFD for me tonight, but I'll try not to drink to excess.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • Ok after a long break and alcohol intake creeping back up I need the steadying influence and support of this thread again. Starting today but would really like to join the monthly targets. Can I be put me down for 23/25 for December?

20/20 AFDs, with still a few days to spare! Not for a good reason, though - I overdid it last night, slept very poorly and am suffering today.

Not going to make my target again but for me it works to set a higher target. I think December is going to be difficult with lots of parties already planned. Will try to be AF beginning of month and be AL on other days.

We're all different. For me it works completely the other way in that I set myself a low target every month but determined to meet it or beat it.

I have exactly similar plans for December in that I want to get as many as possible AFDs chalked up before Christmas kicks in.

Delighted to find it's still November tomorrow and I could get my cat on the moon smiley. It's too early to call I now for Monday but I'll be back.....:D

3 AFDs since I last posted and just half a bottle of fruit cider tonight while we're watching TV, so I think I'm up to 19/23. Won't meet target, but I'm OK with that, I think.
