Thanks Honey Bear
I'm doing better than I thought but kep wanting to slip back into old ways but haven't. The thought never leaves you does it?!
I managed another AFD yesterdayFour in a row for the first time.

I'd agree with you there HB, it does get easier with time. You're doing brilliantly piggles, looks like you're going to smash your target and you didn't expect that did you?? Success!!
chardonnay, while I don't have OCD I've definitely used the technique of talking back to that little voice (or sometimes loud voice actually) that's tried to persuade me to have a drink when I hadn't planned one. I find it works.
satchmo, you must have been at the same meeting as me last night!:rotfl:I came home and had a planned couple of glasses but it's given me a horrible headache. DH thinks I've become intolerant to the tannin in red. He might be right although I used to drink it all the time.
Definitely no drinking for me until Friday.
9 AFDs please Shaggy.
I'm hoping to get to target this week and then any extras next week will be a bonus. A big improvement on last week when I struggled to get to 10.0 -
Afternoon :hello:
2 more ALDs for Monday & Tuesday.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Did anybody see the George Best autopsy last night, so sad! Really makes you think!
I'm an Autopsy series watcher. Have seen most of the George Best one but stopped before the end to watch Eng v France (I have it on TiVo). Some grim photos of him. I thought Calum Best was amazing - so honest.
The thing that has struck me most after watching a number of seasons of Autopsy is how how many celebs are killed by prescription meds, when you'd expect them to be dying from illegal drugs and booze. What do we do when we fall?
