Doshwaster, wow, you're going great guns well done!
I ignored the bells tonight by eating my way through the contents of the fridge and the cupboards, at least the unhealthier stuff anyway! For some reason the fruit and veggies are uneaten.
Piggles I hope you are off in the land of nod by now and have a good night tonight.
It was a day I was quite tempted to drink, the bells were medium tonight. I wanted to blot out the tired feeling and the disappointment I was feeling about some changes at work. I think one of the things I have to watch out for is alcohol as anasthaesia.
I have an early start tomorrow so best head off now.
Shaggy that's 2/10 for me please.
Maman, good luck for remembrance day tomorrow, somebody once claimed it was possible to have coffee and soft drinks as an option when going out for lunch - who knew?!0 -
6/23 for me please x0

Noticed in the Aldi newsletter that from Thursday this week they have got some 'Specially Selected Sparkling Muscat' AF in store priced £1.79 in red, white and Rose! Will definately be giving them a try so will let you all know. Have still been drinkling the Asda AF wine but adding half again with sparkling water because worried about the calories/syns!!
I love it when someone takes one for the team! Looking forward to hearing whether I need to nip down there and stock up, Sandypan.Wanna_Bee_Free wrote: »Maman, good luck for remembrance day tomorrow, somebody once claimed it was possible to have coffee and soft drinks as an option when going out for lunch - who knew?!
Even more amazingly, apparently it's possible to go out for dinner and not get !!!!!!. That knowledge totally passed me by for 20 years.
11/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -

Thanks. I may treat myself to a beer or two this weekend but I can honestly say that I haven't missed it so far this month. There are also two good effects to report:
1) I'm saving money. Very useful at this time of the year.
2) I'm losing weight. It's not just the calories in alcohol but the crap you eat after a drinking session. It's a lot easier to eat healthily when you are sober.0 -

Great news doshwaster, especially the weightloss. I found that cutting back on alcohol alone wasn't enough for me to lose weight but it certainly helped.Honey_Bear wrote: »Even more amazingly, apparently it's possible to go out for dinner and not get !!!!!!. I knew as I was typing that it was ridiculous to imply that I couldn't be AF and go out to lunch. It's just that my own reasoning is that I don't drink on ordinary nights in so when I go out I enjoy a drink. That's fine if I was doing ALDs but I think I still need the discipline of clocking up AFDs. Anyway, DH didn't need me to go to the ceremony so problem averted.
6 AFDs please Shaggy
and if I manage the SNC tomorrow I'll have my first smiley of the month:D.0 -
