Muzzling when absent sounds a sensible way to compromise before you lose any more of your good stuff. My cousin has a Corgi that she reckoned did about $10,000 worth of damage (antiques) before she stopped chewing! The dog was known as The Crocodile in a Fur Coat.
Oh my days - you guys have definitely put me off ever owning a dog.:rotfl:What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Hi everyone,
I didn't have a great night last night but hopefully tonight will be better. I don't know why I feel that I 'deserve' to sleep 100% through on my first AF night. I think my expectations might be a bit high.
It has been somewhat touch and go here, I nearly deviated to sainsbugs after work but managed to get back home without stopping. I felt kind of tired and disgruntled and wanted WINE NOW! but held fast and I felt a lot better after some goulash and rice had filled me up. HALT - certainly Hungry and Tired was enough to make it a struggle tonight. But I made it through. Skin of teeth job.
I keep telling myself it will get easier - onward and upward.
Sleep well everyone.
PS Came back to say 4/21 please Shaggy!0 -
8/22 - horrid day today - too much to explain. I really wanted a drink by the time DH got home. He helped me abstain by driving me to his cousin's for a chat with his wife. Two big cuppas later, the boys get back from the gym and I'm feeling better.0
