I almost decided to drink after all last night but decided against it. I had some good news (hospital test came back all clear) and thought I'd celebrate but decided (after thinking of you lot;)) that I could wait until the weekend.
No drinking planned today.
2 AFDs please Shaggy.0 -
Sorry I haven't been around - really busy here in RL . I'll be back soon.
👍What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

He loved it! Dropped him off for breakfast club at 8am. The supervisors were prepped about his heart condition and whisked him off to get crumpets and Apple juice. He gave me a quick kiss and that was it - gone! Oh well, at least I didn't have to peel him off me like one of the other mums
Been busy today but flagging now...this is the danger zone...0 -

1/30/COLOR] for me please. I didn't make it through yesterday as planned - stressful day and gave in too easily. Never mind, made it today.
ImaI'm the only one who is stopping me from achieving my goals! :wall:0 -
2/20 AFDs today. The wine-devil tried to tempt me, Laithwaites rang with some "fantabulous" offer. I said NO. Almost £100 ... that's how much I didn't spend, with that one little word. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

Glad to hear test results were good, Maman, and that you resisted tempation.
Hope life calms down, Shaggy. We'll manage without your tender ministrations for a day or two more.
Dizzy, that sounds like the perfect first day at school for mini-Imp, albeit very much like the Posy Simmons cartoon, where it's the mum who stands at the school gate with tears flowing down her face, rather than the child.
It sounds as though one or two people are struggling at wine o'clock. (((Hugs))) to you all. Excellent MSE savings there, Satchmo!
3/30 please, Shaggy - when you have the time.Better is good enough.0 -

That's really difficult being called with an offer in person. It's bad enough when leaflets come through the post. Well done on resisting.:T
No wine planned tonight for me.
