Hi, I finished June at on 25/22 so pleased with that!

Heading towards 3 weeks without a drink now but it's working well for me not making a big deal about it so I think to be on the safe side I will say 22 again for July please Shaggy.

Well done to everyone who has exceeded or met their targets or who are just taking the time to think about their drinking and trying to be sensible!

    Greetings all,

Last weekend wasn't too bad, although I did get drunk on Saturday I stayed in Friday night and just had one drink and didn't drink at all on Sunday, so fairly happy with that.

I did slip into my old ways Saturday and was drinking pints of cider in the sun during the afternoon, then wine at home, then lager and rum at a bar in the evening - a bit of everything! The only thing that saved me was that I had a few breaks throughout the day when I didn't drink for an hour or two. I do remember the whole evening which is my measure for success these days!

Lessons learned: if its hot and I really fancy a refreshing pint of lager/cider then order a shandy! And don't keep wine in the house!

Hope everyone else is doing ok. Don't know about you but when the weathers hot and sunny it makes me want to drink more! Pub gardens all look very tempting on the walk home from work. Enjoy the sun :)

I agree about being more tempted in the sunny weather. What I find works is having some non and low alcohol alternatives at home.
    1/22 please.

What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Hi Shaggy, I have changed my mind and am going to go Target Free this month.

I have been very moderate with my drinking (have had the odd AF day but haven't kept count) which I haven't managed for a few years so I am pleased with that. If I can go back to moderation then that will be a big win for me :) I am still aiming for 14 in July but want to take the pressure off and see if cutting down works better for me.

Yep, what is it about the sunny weather that makes you crave a beer?! I agree debjay - Becks Blue has been my saviour lately!

    1/22 please Shaggy. :)

I'm not even a beer drinker but do have them with lime as quite refreshing. Also to moderate on a drinking day sainsburys low alcohol cider isn't bad.
    2/22 please.

2/31 for me so far please shaggy. The end of June was really not good though, so I am trying hard to give my liver a break. Sounds like a lot of us have struggled a bit recently...
