What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

:T on your thirty two days!!

There are lots of reasons why it bothers other people. Mainly, I think, it's a form of jealousy. Most people know that they drink a bit too much but try to ignore it. You're bringing it to their attention so it makes them feel uncomfortable. I'm sure you're not judging but that's the way it feels. Just keep riding it out, they'll get used to it in time (or join you;)).

It's funny isn't it. I have alcohol free beers, ciders and wines and so at home and social events at home I'm really not fussed. I get to join in without joining in IYSWIM. It's just when I go out with friends they can get a bit funny, which then makes me think I should.

    Hello.

My name is Alchemilla and I am not very good at moderate drinking.

DH and I don't drink on schoolnights but go for it weekends and holidays...and egg each other on.

Recently family members have pointed out he looks yellow, I can't see it but I thought if I gave up he might cut down. I am just as bad as him if not worse though.

Can I set a 30 day target please?

Welcome :hello: I had noticed you lurking and was going to say hello and invite you to join in and then saw you had posted :D

1 more as of this evening for me please Shaggy so i've finally hit my second jumpy :j

Target for June..... hmmmmmmm..... I will go for 20 again please and maybe, just maybe I might actually reach target :o

Thank you for the welcome Maman, Chardonnay, Shaggy and Fruball.

DH is along for the ride, no nagging needed. He thinks we are going to the end of June though...

TBH so far I am finding it harder than him. I am loving the fresh head in the morning and the not feeling guilty and like a d i c k because I can't remember stuff.

    17/20 for tonight please.

I'm going to give June some thought. I had started off after Dry Jan only drinking one night per week at weekends unless on holiday or special occasions. However since our holiday a few weeks back I've been drinking 2 nights at the weekend but mainly in moderation. I think with the nicer weather I'll probably go for 2 days over weekend. If I've added up right that should be a target of 22 for June please.
