Double figure day today. Regarding totally clear of drink, not noticed too much difference, but I don't miss it at the moment. Will be a full month without alcohol tomorrow. 10/31 AFDs today

Feeling alone. Husband is being hateful. I've asked mum to go to respite care so that she doesn't have to endure this poisonous atmosphere, and so that I'm not torn between them. Ashamed to say I've taken refuge in the wine bottle, which I'll pay for in the morning
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Marvellous! Two pounds in one week means you're being really disciplined about food.

Thank you :) I'm really trying not to replace my glass of wine with nibbles in the evening. It has been quite hard with hubby away, but I'm determined not to fall off the wagon. My stepson said he'd noticed I had cut right down this evening and joked that maybe I was expecting again

    9/24 for today please

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Big big hugs Satchmo....

Hugs to all waiting for test results (including myself - waiting for the results of a routine mammogram as part of the BC screening program - long term readers may remember that I was called back last time and I therefore had 3 scary days of waiting for my follow up appointment which proved to be 100% fine. This was particulary scary as my sister has had BC in the past - although she's great these days too)....

Congrats to all on weight loss - STS (still the same ) for me at the moment....

I've got off to a disastrous start for May. No real excuses or excesses but (note to self) must do better!

    Back on wagon today.
