25/28 please, Shaggy.
This is absolutely not a request for sympathy because I totally knew it was coming and had prepared for it a few weeks ago, but I had to have my darling dog put to sleep today. Pretty much my first thought afterwards was, 'I could do with a drink tonight, and I wouldn't mind getting sh*t-faced.' And then I realised that feeling that bad wasn't going to be helped by feeling even worse, tomorrow. And that it was while I was walking the dog, roaring drunk (literally, I had been roaring at my darling OH having filled up on booze) that I absolutely knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that I had to stop drinking because if I didn't the day would come when I would drop the lead while I was walking her late at night and she'd be killed in traffic. That lovely dog saved me, and I will always remember her for that, as well as all the other love she brought with her into my life. A sad day, but a dog with a lasting legacy. I'm having a couple of Beck Blues to celebrate her life.Better is good enough.0 -

Oh HB, so sorry to hear about your lovely dog. You should be so proud of yourself for not drinking in the circumstances, as Maman said. Sending a big hug too. x

HB I'm so sorry - what a legacy your darling dog has, though:)
And well done for sticking with the b**ks b**e.
I wasn't AF yesterday, unfortunatelyanother really stressful day completely sapped my willpower, and I succumbed to a couple of glasses of red when I should've just had a cuppa.
Shaggy, I'm sorry to be a pain but can I change my march target to 31 please?
I seem to do much better when I remove alcohol as an option entirely!
Well done to everyone who is on target for Feb:)0
