Oh dear back to normal sooooo quickly after my sober October, 1/15 so far, its never good when the month starts at weekend.
I had hoped something good would come of October, maybe it still will but for now I'll plod on.
Going out for a nice long walk today, the sun is shining so that should cheer me up. Enjoy Wednesday everyone.0 -
On 3/20 AFDs today.
Had a very minor op to remove a cyst from scalp. DH was told he had to come along to drive home. Got home safely (he's not a great driver), but neither he nor mum made me a cup of coffee. Feeling weepy. He's made himself lunch and coffee. I text him asking for coffee, but nothing yet. He asked if I wanted lunch with mum (I couldn't make out if he was offering to make it), which I declined as not hungry.
I don't know why I'm trying to hold this marriage together. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Hugs Satchmo, sometimes the stress of an op however small can make you feel very fragile. But a cuppa sometimes when you're feeling like that works wonders too eh. xx
Please have a huge hug.

5/30 please, Shaggy.
Tonight, I laid the table while I was cooking dinner, and had a passing thought about whether or not to put a wine glass at OH's place. I decided against it, as he pours his first one when he comes downstairs for dinner, and then goes to the table. The next time I thought about alcohol was at least an hour later, walking the dog home after her last walk of the day. I had no idea that his drinking is the thing that has been keeping alcohol in my mind - I didn't give it a thought as I sat down to dinner. That is a HUGE change, but it's taken until Day 103!Better is good enough.0
