  • 15/18 now please Shaggy. All day yesterday I was thinking about the bottle of Chardonnay chilling in the fridge and looking forward to a couple of glasses last night, but when it actually came to it I didn't fancy it and had a cup of de-caff tea and a KitKat instead :) I think when I'm at home, a lot of it is that I need a treat, so I need to ask myself if it's necessarily alcohol that I'm craving. I think I may now actually reach my target this month, after a very poor start!

For October I'm going for 31 days please! I've signed up for Go Sober for October and actually looking forward to it! I have a family party tonight, where I will definitely drink but I'll then be starting the AF challenge tomorrow, so actually hoping for 34 AFDs in a row. It will be interesting, but I'm hoping I'll be more productive and get into my running and healthy eating again.

Have a great weekend all! :D

Saturday, pizza night in this house, is the one night I am conscious of wanting a glass of red (I lie, more than 'a') to round the flavours off. If I can go on getting through Saturdays I can do this but unlike you, Chardonnay, a cup of tea and a KitKat won't cut the mustard. Maybe it's a good thing for me to know that the legendary Craving Wolfie will always be tempting me. If I could work out what my 'treat' could be, it would help. Good on you for finding yours.

Thanks HB! :) Good luck with finding your treat! Hope your weekend's going well and we can help each other through October!

I predictably have a hangover after the party last night. I did have a really good time but the wine on offer wasn't the best (a couple of people commented on it) and to be honest, I did think a few times that I was just drinking it for the sake of it.

Anyway, onwards and upwards - ready to be alcohol free for at least the next 34 days :T I certainly won't miss the hangovers! Bring it on! :D

20/20 AFDs gets me to target tonight, woop woop.

October may be harder, as it's full of family birthdays on 6th (sister), 9th (brother's 60th), 10th (mum), 17th (son) plus an evening in Blackpool on 16th that I don't think I can face sober.

I think I'll still put a target of 20 AFDs though, because without a stretching target I know I won't try hard enough.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

A night out in Blackpool sober would be an "experience"
