Don't know what to say to help, Alex. What's worked in the past when you've wanted to cut down?Better is good enough.0

That's excellent satchmo, what a turnaround.
Keep at it Alex. It's so easy to fall back into bad habits. I do understand TF but for me having some planned AF days works better. I always aim low and achievable as a default position and then any 'extras' are a bonus.
I wasn't AF last night, out for a meal with friends and enjoyed a few glasses of red. hence today's headache!!:(
Definitely not drinking today.
6 AFDs please Shaggy.0 -
I was AF last night despite OH sitting on the sofa next to me necking a bottle of white wine.. This is a never heard of occurance in our house as I am usually the one with the wine glass attached to my hand.. Don't know what's happened but I finally feel I've turned a corner of a very long road.. think 5 - 8 years of me & my friend wine...
I will not get complacent as I have tried the SNC in the past and reverted back but I'm hopeful this time.....and hope is a good thing to have in my book.
Good luck to all.
p.s.
Calling early 7/14 I have no intention of drinking tonight.

8/20 AFDs, need a clear head for tomorrow when our furniture is delivered from storage into the new apartment, woopee. I've written out a timetable for everyone involved, as it's pretty complicated due to mum having a follow-up hospital appointment mid-day which my sister has volunteered to drive her to (she'll take time out from her working day).
I know Sunday will include celebratory drinkies, as it's our 8th anniversary and the first in our new abode. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0
