Alex, I don't know what to say but I'm glad you're posting whether or not you're hitting high numbers.

Bizarrely I am feeling pleased with myself on the same number as you yesterday - I only got to 4 in each of July & August and I am hoping to get to 4 tomorrow with lots of month left so I thought two was good. OK low standards, I admit.

One odd thing I've noticed is that my sense of smell seems to be more sensitive again these last few days. It's been variable for ages and comes and goes but for some reason everything is more intense.
    Which was mostly good.
    Sleep well everyone.

7/20 for last night - I bought wine, put glasses on the table, then put them back and left the wine in the fridge!

Sorry you're struggling Alex, keep posting here for encouragement.

    Thanks. :)

Don't know what to say to help, Alex. What's worked in the past when you've wanted to cut down?

Nothing other than self determination, something I do not have at the moment.

That's excellent satchmo, what a turnaround.

Keep at it Alex. It's so easy to fall back into bad habits. I do understand TF but for me having some planned AF days works better. I always aim low and achievable as a default position and then any 'extras' are a bonus.

I wasn't AF last night, out for a meal with friends and enjoyed a few glasses of red. hence today's headache!!:(

    Definitely not drinking today.

    6 AFDs please Shaggy.

Unfortunately, I really cannot face a target at the moment as I dread failing to achieve it. Things are somewhat difficult at the moment.

Had "a" :rotfl: drink tonight, so no movement on my abysmal record thus far.

Alex you were able to find the stop button after one, which in my book is a huge achievement - once I have one glass, my self determination glugs out.

Well done on stopping at one x
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • 7/18 for last night.
Calling early for tonight cos I'm driving at 3am, so I definitely won't be drinking.
    So total 8/18 :)

I didn't comment on this when you posted Satchmo but I'm still impressed by it, so I wanted to cogratulate you.

Hang on in there, Alex. We're rooting for you.

    10/30 please, Shaggy.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I know Sunday will include celebratory drinkies, as it's our 8th anniversary and the first in our new abode.
