The Giving Up/ Cutting Down alcohol support thread - number 13

I think I'm feeling a bit fed up with the grey weather. It seems we had the promise of summer in early April and now it's been snatched away.:(


As a result I'd love to cheer myself up with a drink. It seems crazy that but it's more the promise of a drink to look forward to that I'm missing rather than the drink itself.


But I'm not giving into it!

I'm feeling flat today and like you Maman I think it's about the grey weather and NOTHING to do with the whole bottle of wine I drank last night when I was stressed and only going to have half!

OH was asked yesterday by our neighbour where I get my supplies of Be**s B**e. They bought in supplies for me when they invited us in for a drink on Boxing Day, and he finished up those and has been buying them from the Co-0p at the bottom of the road where they only sell them chilled, so a bit pricey. He's a real ale drinker, but he actually likes B Blue, so another convert! I'm really surprised by the number of people who've asked to try a sip and then decided that, actually, it makes a nice change and then go on to use to it cut down - these are people who don't seem to have a problem with alcohol, either. I wish I'd found it 10 years ago because it would have made my life a lot better.
