Morning :hello:
1 more AFD for yesterday.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Feel as if I am coming down with cold though - fingers crossed an early night will help to fight it off!

It may sound weird but I was (secretly) pleased when DH refused an invitation to go out to eat this week. He's got too much work on but I really need to stay at home, eat healthily and get a few AFDs in.:)
Sounds exactly how I used to feel in my drinking days, Maman! Going out almost always meant drinking too much, and staying in and having an early night meant I could cut right back. Every night I didn't get tiddled was a victory.1/12 please - bit of a struggle at that 1830 time but putting it off seems to work as does having something to eat (so my liver will be great but I may be obese!)
My weight stablized as soon as I stopped drinking, mainly because I didn't get the munchies a couple of hours after I'd eaten a full meal, and no longer needed recovery breakfasts regularly. It's a lot easier to shift a few pounds than it is to stop drinking after you've had a couple, too. Good on you.fakeplastictwee wrote: »I'm feeling very stupid for drinking a bit too much last night and totally wasting a precious day off today. It's interfered with my 10k training and general downtime. I've managed to achieve nothing but don't feel rested either. My mood has taken a nose dive this afternoon and my body feels terrible.
We've all done it, FPT, over and over again in my case, and what particularly struck a chord about your post was the last sentence. I developed a fine line in self-loathing every late afternoon after a heavy session and I don't miss that one bit. It isn't you, it's alcohol - you know they say it's a depressant and that late afternoon ultralow is a manifestation of just that. (((Hugs)))
5/10 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0
