Don't hesitate to let me know if I've made a mistake! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

I think it was you, Maman, who told me about the fabulous tiling in the station in Porto. The tiling at St Pau is just as breath-taking but there's acres and acres of it, particularly if you remember to look up. I was very tempted to lie on my back on the floor several times but I thought people might trip over me while they were wandering about oggling it as well. It's an easy walk from Sagrida Familia where there were massive crowds (ugh), and there were hardly any other people at St Pau. If you like Art Noveau it's reckoned to be the best example in Europe so it's well worth taking the time if you just happen to be in Barcelona. *bliss* The scarf I bought was a silkscreen print of some of the blue and white tiling.Better is good enough.0

It was me that told you about Porto railway station.
Sorry but couldn't help seeing an irony in the fact that you'll never be seen lying on your back in the street again!
As featured in this poem:
How well do I remember, it was just this past December,
I was walking down the street in manly pride
When my heart began to flutter, and I fell into the gutter,
and a pig came up and lay down by my side
As I lay there in the gutter, with my heart still in a flutter,
a lady passing by began to say
'You can tell a man who boozes, by the company he chooses'
And the pig got up, and slowly walked away0 -

But thank you. I post these things on here just to keep track really.

Hi all - room for a lurker?
Have lost a good couple of hours this afternoon reading through your threads - so inspiring each and every post.
For me I don't wake up feeling rough, I always remember the night before but I do drink most days - even if it is just one glass of an evening. I am hoping posting with you guys and sharing stories will help keep me motivated as I know i need to reduce the amount I am drinking.
I would love to sign up for the march challenge with a target of 10 AF days please
Welcome. You'll get lots of support and encouragement here.0 -
