I did manage my AF Friday:). Thanks all for the support. I missed it more in anticipation as I generally look forward to 'weekend starts here' from wine o'clock on Fridays. Once I'd got into the evening it was just like any other AF day. I may try it again.
Until I stopped drinking I had absolutely no idea how true this was.
21/30 please Shaggy, with many thanks for everything you do for the thread.Better is good enough.0 -

:T well done lucy. Just enough days left to get to target.:D
Strange that about anticipation HB. I hadn't really thought about it before. Now when I fancy an unplanned drink I'll just tell myself it's only the anticipation. I wonder if that would work?;)
No drinking today.

Don't hesitate to let me know if I've made a mistake! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
10/12 for today please Shaggy0

I've decided to come back here as I feel my drinking is getting a little bit out of control again.
I pretty much wasted all weekend through being too hungover to do anything and I probably made an idiot of myself when my friend came round on Saturday. She drove, so I drank all of the wine I bought for us both to have, yawn yawn.
I feel I've had issues with drink for a while now. If I make the decision to not drink and stick to it (which is the hard bit), I'm fine, but once I open the wine... well that's it.
I've had 7 days AF so far this month and I want to try and give up for a while. I don't want to set a limit on it and say I'll never drink again, but if I give myself little targets, then it might work.
Is saying I won't drink for the rest of November too much to think about? Probably. Now that I've said it, I'm already thinking about the wine I won't be having tonight with my dinner and beyond.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
