Been a very stressful week, but pleased to report another 3 AFD (one of them thanks to a bottle of AF wine!).
Now at 8/16, and I may even have another AF night tonight as I am going out and driving. That would be a run of 6 consecutive days which is a major achievement for me.
Glad to finally get my little cat icon! What goes around comes around.....I hope!0 -
£10.50! Cripes, Cathybird. For that I'd expect gold leaf in the salt!
Brilliant numbers, Elusive Lucy, and really pleased that the AF wine helped rack them up, particularly as it was a stresssful week. Whatever works, as they say. Someone I respect said that drinking AF beer or wine means that we shouldn't consider ourselves done with booze. Hmm. I've been off booze for well over two years so I completely disagree. As far as I'm concerned if it's one drink less than we would have otherwise had, one evening more than normal off the booze, or however else anyone has changed the habit - it's a victory and we should celebrate it.
14/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -
I'd disagree too HB. To me that's like saying you shouldn't have decaff coffee or sugar free squash. Just because you like the taste but not the alcohol (or caffeine or sugar) then why stop drinking it. Perhaps you shouldn't even be allowed in the pub or pubs should stop selling AF drinks?? What nonsense!;)
I'm having an AF Friday which is unusual for me. Yesterday I found I'd gained 2.5 lbs:eek: in the past 7 weeks of socialising so my vanity is giving me the needed kick in the rear end. We're off to a local theatre so it'll be easier. Definitely no wine in the interval or ice cream either!
8 AFDs please Shaggy.0 -
