I confess to buying the odd cup of coffee when on the way to work but only when I haven't slept properly and my brain needs a shot of something galvanising to rev it into first gear! It's not a habit though.
sorry but I didn't mean to imply that there's anything wrong with buying take away coffee just that the whole lifestyle thing of retail therapy was getting out of control and it being 'cool' to be seen with coffee was the a bit like it being cool to drink wine.
No drinking planned here today and I get to have my cat!!

Honey Bear and Maman, I agree absolutely with you on the retail therapy/"cool to be seen with coffee" thang. In fact it's interesting how quickly even the odd cup of coffee can add up.
Meanwhile I was in M&S at lunchtime and they were selling tiny containers of posh salt for £10.50 :eek: The container was so pretty you could actually have kept it and used it to store bits and bobs, say in the bathroom, but you know, salt is salt! Amazing how much you can spend on food/drink (including booze) without really thinking about it.0 -
