  • Finally got an icon and reporting in with 7/18 for tonight!!


    (notice I skirt over the fact that I didn't post on here last night as I had a drink or 3...ho hum).


    Have upped the exercise this week - two reasonable length walks and two trips to the gym. Gently building up the time at the gym.

    Have sort of fallen off the wagon by drinking most days this week - sunny weather my excuse this time. But no drunken excesses or escapades. Still trying to work things out. hanging in here till I can get my act together and commit to another plan. Well done to everyone else! xx

    What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    My diet started yesterday with a fast day but since my work arrangements have changed since I did the 5:2 diet successfully last time I am not sure if I will switch to Slimming World and bite the bullet and sign up for 3 months.

    As well as going to the gym tonight, I have managed to stay AF, which is a first in 3 weeks for a Tuesday so now at 6/18.


    I'm just doing calorie counting (and the usual low GI stuff during the day) - lost the first pound :j

    Well done Shaggy. I haven't got on the scales yet - leaving that til Monday morning, only doing it weekly. Been bad today and had a bag of crisps at lunchtime since I had a busy day and only had chance to get to the Sainsburys Local round the corner so bought a meal deal and the crisps called to me. Had eaten them by the time I really thought about the fact I shouldn't have picked them up in the first place!
    What goes around comes around.....I hope!
