1 more for me please Shaggy.
I am really disappointed with my total so far this month... Wish I had a good reason but I don't
Well it's the same as my total and I'm pleased with mine!!:rotfl:
I'm pleased because I know that I've only had a drink when I've planned for it and I haven't gone OTT. And I'm especially pleased that before coming on this thread I'd have had a huge amount more to drink and every single day of the week. There are lots of ways of measuring success other than just AF days.:)0 -
18/24 AFDs for me tonight. Tomorrow and Saturday are a different matter, as we're off to Anglesey for a two night Groopon deal booked on Boxing day. Bargainous price of £99 for two nights, B&B plus dinner on one night, for two people. Unbelievable.
I'm not sure whether Sunday will be temperate or wineful. I can still make my target, as I'd planned this weekend in advance. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -

12/15 please shaggy
Another week of sncs under the belt after tonight so see you all after the weekend for the final push for february target0 -
14/20 for tonight. Finding SNC fairly easy and am drinking less at weekends too. Not sure where I went wrong with my target as need Sunday to be AF if I'm to reach my target this month.
Maybe I need my SNC to be Sunday to Thursday so only drink 2 days per week.
Whatever, what is definitely working is actually thinking about my drinking and planning it in advance :T0 -
How's everyone doing?
It's been a while since I took a significant vow of teetotality. But I've not had anything since last Friday and am intending keeping it that way until Easter at least.0 -

Another bonus with the SNC is that my work allowance for food now goes a lot further when there is no large wines added to the bill now I can choose pretty much anything rather than just choosing the cheapest menu item to allow for booze allowance
Am with you on this, just stayed away with work in the lovely South West and the price of the cheapest main meal alone exceeded my paltry work meal allowance so definitely no alcohol drinks for me! Was my own fault as I now look around for Secret Escapes Hotels for work stays but the restaurants can be a bit on the high price side.
But it means like you Bailey that I enjoy a bit of luxury when away, I too enjoyed a bit of sunshine in a lovely part of the world, not seen much of it in the North West lately.
Calling in early tonight with 15 AF days. Am determined to hit my new, improved, revised target!0 -
Sorry I've not been in for a while, back to report 16/20 please Shaggy which takes me to last night.
I'm out with friends tonight and tomorrow (a very very rare weekend away from the kids!). I'm very excited! Have a great weekend all.0 -
Good happy Friday morning you lot :hello:
Shaggy another AFD to report 10/20 ...I think Im getting the hang of this :dance:long may it last!!
My trick has been blackcurrant juice as a placebo, Shaggy's stop button and pushing the nice wine thoughts out of my head to that of the hangover and a cold bath
BUT - Guess where I am going tonight...a wine tasting evening :rotfl:the goal here will be to spit the wine out rather than swallow  it seems just down right sacrilegious but I am gonna have you lot in my head :A
