The Giving Up/ Cutting Down alcohol support thread - number 13

Life test today was a lovely Mexican meal in a restaurant which did not stock AF beer  but the bonus was a gorgeous virgin margarita cocktail which to be honest didn't need any alcohol to make it delish
Another bonus with the SNC is that my work allowance for food now goes a lot further when there is no large wines added to the bill now I can choose pretty much anything rather than just choosing the cheapest menu item to allow for booze allowance

11/15 please shaggy0 -
10 for me today please.
Pub lunch today and had two AF beers.0 -
10/14 please shaggy - woo hoo double figures!
I am undecided about tomorrow but need to have 4 more days by Friday and should probably be good even though I'm out. Uh oh, the debating society takes too much effort.
Either way I'm off the wagon on Friday and Saturday.
Sleep well everyone.0 -

It's certainly not compulsory!;) It's a new thing for me and all part of my feeling in control. I don't remember when I last had a 'sod it' day.
Last night was planned drinking when out for supper. Thinking about our discussion the other day and I didn't enjoy it as much in pathetic little glasses the pub were using. I suppose it's the same principle as drinking tea from bone china. At least, if trivia like that concern me it proves my drinking is a lifestyle thing not a 'must have'.:)
Definitely not drinking tonight.
9 AFDs please Shaggy.

Morning :hello:
1 more AFD - which is amazing as watching Arsenal last night would have driven anyone to drink
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
