For her own front door, she lives in a bungalow, she has a yale at the top, and where a mortice lock is it has this security type lock. Although the key for this looks just like a yale.

Its odd that she has a lock on her personal front door which has such limited key cutting options. Can you upload a picture or find an image of the lock. It may be easy and much cheaper to change the barrel.
Where I live we have a security key for the communal entrance door which looks like a Yale key but has an extra groove in it. On it it states it is a security key with restrictions on duplication. These are only available from the landlord at a cost of £5. I would suspect a housing company were profiteering by charging £70 for a basic key.

Yale or euro lock would be <£10 to buy and 10 mins to fit (inc a cup of tea)

...........and 10 seconds to force open ! You will not get a decent lock for a tenner.
