I find this strange, I work at a Morrisons checkout although on mat leave atm so I can't say if the limit is thier at this time but never have I seen a limit on kit kat bars - yes the choclate tins are limited but you have no idea how much trouble they cause and the fights their are over them when were running low ;-)
It tends to be stuff like washing powder an alchol deals...the big stuff, we usally have a list of about 10 items and most are their constant because of what they are, i.e you can't buy more then 2 moblies in one go as people use them in fraud etc.
Admittedly OUR store doesn't always advertise their is a limit!!People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
Whereever theres a special offer or deal there are those few waiting to abuse it, its a fact of life. OP I can understand your frustration but supermarkets (if they wish) put in special measures to deal with those wanting to abuse the system, the only way they can do this is my limiting amounts per customer. It is a shame for us who like to stock up on a good deal but as a deterrent to abusers it has to be done.:money::rotfl::T0
