cheers Russ , to be honest , every time we go to get the bits we end up with more questions than answers , and i still cant find sanitary ware that i think is suitable , keep being drawn to suite packs from betterbathrooms etc at £400 but i know its a mistake
basically , need a traditional sink , only 500mm projection roughly , toilet 700mm projection soil pipe needs to come out sideways so a close coupled , a mixer shower , riser thing as wall too thin for the gubbins (but can have the feed in it for the thermo thingy)

A bath , folding showerscreen and the taps and wastes , my builder isnt due in for weeks , but if he calls because an outside jobs taken a back seat because of weather , we`ll be !!!!!!d!

I'm just about to go get a replacement basin because the customer wanted cheap - the glaze has scratched and I've to to go and replace it - stick with your gut feeling and avoid the 'packages' - cheap = nasty.

Have you considered a digital shower - one pipe, either internal or exposed on the wall ?

You can't really go wrong with brand names, Armitage, Ideal, Roca etc. You may laugh, but visit a couple of independants, or even the likes of City Plumbing (Part of Travis Perkins) you may be suprised at what they can offer you. Any they take the headache of finding exactly what you want if you specify dimensions up front. :)

  • You may wish to have a look at the shires Waverley range, it's now manufactured by Armitage and the price point isn't too bad

  • A digital shower is a mixer shower but the mixer unit is situated away from the shower area and you then have a data cable and mixed feed pipe linking the two up the link below explains it.
