Much sympathy for those who had a bad night; I've forgotten what a decent night's sleep is. I'm currently taking Valerian tablets, using calming incense sticks in the bedroom, and having a hot milky drink at night, but I'm afraid it's not helping. Or maybe it'd be even worse if I didn't do these things?!

We went to see "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" last night. "Cheap" night at C!new0rld on Tuesdays, and I have a CEA card so Mr LW gets in free as my carer, but it's still a lot of money imho, even though we buy no drinks or snacks. My poor back is whingeing today, about having sat in one position for over three hours! Never mind, we both enjoyed it, even though there's a lot in it that Tolkien sure as Hel never wrote!:D

Mr LW has prepped tonight's veggies, so it's sausages (veggie Lincolnshire) with roast roots tonight. I'll make Marm!te gravy to go with it.;)

    Afternoon all :)

I don't seem to have much time for posting ATM. Doesn't seem to be enough hours in the school day for me to get all errands done, catch up on housework and washing
DS has decided he will only eat Aldi cheese and since he lives on cheese and not much else for lunches so I am now driving the 10 mile round trip there. Fortunately the cat food we have was on offer at asda just nearby so ended up going to two supermarkets this morning. That's far too much for anyone I reckon :o
So it's all been put away, Luna walked again and I've got wet cos it's raining. Again. Meh.

I ordered some books from the book people in their sale which came today, they messed up my order and something wasn't included and it's now out of stock so they can't replace it grrrrr anyway I have plenty to keep me busy reading.
Fasting today so something salad-y I think.

Hugs and spoons all round xx

So many of you not sleeping properly (not a curse I am afflicted with, I'd sleep fantastic if it wasn't for kids or animals ;)) so sending you all peaceful sleepy pain free vibes for those that need them xx

    Afternoon everyone

At work again today, so not much OS, although I do know my mum is planning on using up chicken breasts and veg that I have left in the fridge, so she's OSing for me.

Was all rush rush this morning at my 5 year old thought it would be fun to take my phone at 6.30am and play games on it, but then failed to tell me the alarm went off at 7am, so I woke up at 7.30am (luckily!) in a right old panic!

Starting to get really annoyed with my brother as well. He's been on a diet for over a year and lost a hell of a lot of weight, but I never had to worry about him eating my food. But now he seems to have stopped the diet. He keeps eating everything I buy, but will never replace anything. I have said he can eat it, but not all of it. Came down this morning to make my work ham sandwich, you guessed it, no ham!

Ooh, bit moany today, aren't I?!

    Good afternoon !

I sympathise with those who aren't sleeping.

I often have disturbed nights, but touch wood, my sleeping pattern is a bit better at present. Although I probably won't sleep so well tonight, as I'm at work tomorrow. Wednesday night is my equivalent of a Sunday night for most people.

I'm pleased that my cupboard reorganisation has been finished - I've freed up a load of space now.

I've also done my eBay photography and have written up lots of descriptions, so I'm all set for the next free listing weekend.

Today we went out this morning to get some bits and pieces that were needed for the house. Managed to buy some things on offers and also had a few vouchers to shave a few more pounds off, so it was quite pleasing.

Glad to hear Julie is ok

Nearly couldn't get home as the road was cordoned off, fortunately they moved the cordon & I was able to get along my road.
Hubby's gone to the hearing aid clinic, DD is due to visit later, steak & chips for tea for the grown ups, the kids want hotdogs.
    Stay safe everyone.

Another one who had a lousy night :(
Just had a pottering sort of day because I am shattered, I think that I will try to get an early night.

Dinner tonight is bacon lasagne ( I got four nice packs of cooking bacon in Sainsbury's yesterday and DH said that he fancies it ( I mean the lasagne, not Hestering;)) I would probably fall asleep any way :rotfl::rotfl:

Tenyearstogo I hope that DS is ok x

    Julie thinking of you x

As a veggie, I'll pass on the bacon, thanks; but maybe Hestering might help my insomnia.:rotfl:

  • Vast amounts of Hestering make no difference here Lamewolf:rotfl:

I love Aldi cheese too Bitsy and we always call in to stock up as it generally has a good date - it's yummy x

Julie - hope you are beginning to feel a little better and swallow as many pain killers as you can x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Afternoon everyone
Strange you mention Aldi cheese, as you know I've been using Aldi for about 18-19 years, and I used to have to go elsewhere for low fat cheese for DH, but now they do their own. This summer I put on a Cheese & Wine in Cornwall, and put some low fat Aldi cheese out so DH could join in, everyone was saying how nice it was!
Been to town to take back a couple of things and called in Aldi on the way home. Not sure where the rest of the time went. As for sleeping I think DH and I are sleeping for the rest of you. We missed the re-cycle collection this morning!!
    Take care everyone. DG
