Morning everybody,
Julie glad the op went well & hope your pain eases up soon x
Well its another day of tidying, mopping and hoovering today as we have another house viewer at 2, and some more on Saturday.Trying to keep the kitchen floor clean is a nightmare at the moment as big black doggy footprints are created everytime L comes back inside, cant say the back garden looks its best either. The EA said the couple from last week have rung again with a testing the water offer ,(should theirs sell of course) & said they love it.If we could up it a little bit I think we'd have to accept as we've been up for sale so long
I think I'll do corned beef hash & red cabbage for tea,I found I had 3 tins when I did my 'stocktake',I fancy some baking too but prob wont get chance today.
Hope you all have a nice day x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Morning,
Julie - hope you are recovering ok today
I'm another one that had a bad night. I occasionally get a really bad head and face pain which is related to my Trapezius muscle in my shoulder. The pain is not nice but it just makes me feel like carp. Hopefully it will ease today.
WM on and it looks like there may be no rain today so I may attempt to peg it on the line. I need to take a trip to the library. I can't decide whether to go to the nearest, go for a long walk to the one further away
or pop into another on the way home from work. Decisions, decisions...
Think we will have sausages for tea tonight.
Have a good day.0 -
Hi all.
Hugs to all who are struggling with lack of sleep, worry or feeling poorly.
Same old stuff here. Need to pick up youngest from school today as he finishes early on Wednesdays. Other than that and walking doggy, I'm not planning on going out today.
Currently trying to defrost some chicken breasts to make chicken curry tonight as I stupidly forgot to get them out last night.
Hope today treats you all kindly xx0 -
Hi everyone,
It seems colder here today, I might need to have the heating on a bit longer today. I've not many plans other than to spend a £5 off £25 voucher I have for M & S, as DH works for them we also get 20% off so that will be £25 worth of stuff for £16 which will make it worth while to get things like veggies and fruit which we need.
Apart from that I want to get back to my sewing which I haven't been doing for the past 3 weeks. I have 2 quilt tops ready to be backed and quilted and a few blocks made for a new project, although I might abandon that as the instructions call for special rulers and I'm finding it a bit difficult without them.
I hope you all have a good day.0 -
Morning all
weather looks fine here today so wm is on ready to take advantage and fill the washing line.
Ds came home last night minus one pe pump and he's juice bottle, lucky I have a spare bottle so sent him with that, hopefully he'll remember to look for them today else I'll be playing hunt the pump after school today....kids hey?!
Nothing much happening here today, all house work is done, might stand and do my ironing later as the pile is growing, I keep saying I'm gonna do but something better to do always comes along.
Change of plans to dinner tonight, ds asked dh if he can have a mc'ds this eve Dh said yes (only cos he wants one lol ) so they can eat that muck and I'll be having lo stew from last night.
Julie, hope the pain is easing today x

Morning all
Its not raining !! although the sky looks black. Its meant to be stopping from today and we are meant to be getting a cold spell instead, will welcome anything but more rain.
Today I must go and collect the dogs insulin, will do that this morning, then I need to pop to the local town to collect a Le Creuset casserole dish I won on ebay. Need to then pop into Homebase to collect some paint samples and a new mop, then finally run DD round to Tesco to collect an order that she had placed.
Dinner tonight will be chicken fried rice so nice and easy. Have the wm on the go and will attempt to hang it out on the line for a blow.
Julie rest up love xx
Luxor good luck to your DH today xx
Have good days all xx0 -
Good Morning chums, bright and sunny here at the moment, but quite chilly.Well we didn't do so well in the pub quiz last night coming 6th but we had a lot of fun and its great to be back to the old routine again.
My son -in -law has the day off today so I have as well from the childcare:) I have a £10.00 meal voucher from the Beefeaters chain which I am going to treat myself to lunch with later. It expires today so it has to be used up or abandoned and you know me when it comes to binning things
:) So it will be nice to have lunch and be waited on,and tonight I will only need a snack instead of cooking .This afternoon is the U3A monthly meeting and we have a talk on auctions called Going,Going ,Gone which sounds interesting so I shall be there to listen and meet up with some friends I haven't seen since before Christmas .As nice day planned ahead and the bonus is its not actually raining
:):)
have a good day everyone what ever you are doing
Cheers chums JackieO xxx0 -
Morning:D
We've had 4 hours sleep in last few days. Asher not sleeping well at all. Noah up at 3 everyday as usual... Oh well hey ho. Thank god I've relaxed my Mormon ways to drink tea so will get a caffeine boost;)
Today I have to wash kitchen floor, get a beef goulash in slow cooker, having it with rice I think or may make some caraway dumplings.
I may have mine with greens to get back on Paleo wagon.
Asher trying the goulash and rice so will see how we go. Noah will be on something different no doubt!
I have some ironing to do and want to make squashed fly biscuits for tin.
I'd like to watch a greys anatomy episode while Asher sleeps on me later hopefully. My one bit of me time in the day.
Have good days all0 -
Good morning all
Tenyearstogo, sorry to hear your son is still unwell. Hope he can get in to see the doctor today.
Julie, hope you are feeling ok, and that pain levels are manageable.
Sorry to hear about all who have sleeping probs, and feeling down.
I woke up today with that horrid feeling of dread, goodness knows why. I blame my middle aged hormones. However, forced myself out for a walk, listening to the bird song helped, plus now sat having Cup of tea in front of my light box and feeling a little better. Just telling myself not to think too much, just get on and do!
Jackie, enjoy your day!
I need to unload wm and dw, back later.
Take care all,
Peony x

Morning All,
Julie - glad op went well, hopefully pain will diminish soon.
NMLC - glad you had a good birthday.
Tru - love webcam comments!
OH still struggling with laryngitis(sp) medication taking it's time to work.
SIL's op seems to have gone well, she is up and walking, so that's a good sign. She asked to go home because the noise in the ward at night wasn't letting her sleep.
Talking of lack of sleep, I couldn't get to sleep last night either! It was well past 3am before I felt like dropping off.
Had a massive clearout of paperwork last night, so will take about a week to shred it! Problem is that is only about half of it!
Have a good day everyone :beer:0
