my oh has just been accepted , he has been given a £2400 credit limit and we have done a bt from a virgin card for £2250

Aren't you only allowed to balance transfer 90% of your credit limit???

it said 95% on the application, its all gone through the pin has come already and the card is to follow although this will be cut up straight away .

Just to update on this, I finally got notification through that I'd been accepted about a week go, and the card arrived on Friday. It had been so long that I really thought it was a no, but I'm glad to hear otherwise.

Congratulations! I'm going to apply for one later in the year when my current balance transfers have ended.

Edit: Although I can't fathom why it took 2 months from application to getting the card.

I know; I thought it was really odd. It came eventually though, so I'm not too worried.

Thanks for the congratulations. I'm really pleased, as I only wanted one so I could start building up a bit of a credit history (it's going to be paid off in full each month). Next step is to save enough for a deposit!

hi people i also got excepted for the card but not sure if i really did at the top of the page it said WE MAYBE ABLE TO GIVE YOU A CARD with an arrow pointing to a credit limit of 1500 and a Apr of 23.9 did anyone else get this reply is this normal ?
