Best PAYG?
Ok so my vodafone contract ended and i decided to keep the phone and go PAYG. I got myself a 3 123 sim which looked perfect for me as i don't use the phone much and it has worked out a lot cheaper, the only problem is i don't get a signal at home which is a shame. So i need to change to another network hopefully with a similar monthly spend or less.
After looking through my average usage i use around 400mb, upto 150 texts, and less than 100 minutes a month, which on 3 would be 10 quid a month.
I have some in mind but with so many different tariffs and addons etc i was just seeing if anyone else had any thoughts or suggestions that i may have missed.
thanks all

Have you looked at Ovivo?
£20 initially, then zero per month will cover the usage you require.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. Ovivo, if you can stand the ads.0

You may have trouble with data on Asda/EE as there are reports of Asda customers not being able to connect to the internet while EE customers have no trouble. I have experienced this myself during a trial period.
As said above Ovivo seems good although you have to watch the occasional advert when browsing so you need to consider if that will annoy you.0 -
Nokia 100, basic phone and text, £7 at Tesco (had some vouchers on clubcard, so even less for me!)
Very good battery life, bit clunky by todays standard though..
I got £20 extra free credit on 1st topup of £10.

Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0 -

Virgin do a tariff called Big Data and Text.
For £10 per month, you get 1GB of Data and unlimited texts.
Additionally, you keep the £10 topup, to make calls or additional texts.
I'm on the alternative, called Big Talk, which gives me 120 Mobile minutes, unlimited landline calls (to 01, 02 and 03 numbers), plus my £10 topup to use as I like.0 -
Ovivo is the obvious answer as they use the Vodafone network.
I have a SIM but wouldn't port a number I valued to it.
If o2 is OK where you are then look at giffgaff.0
