Three 3 mobile - able to negotiate sim only?

Hi all
Before I try negotiating with 3 does anyone know if they are able to offer sim only tariffs that are different to the standard ones on the website?
My current sim only contract with them is about to end, and I wanted to keep it as is but add all you can eat data (with tethering if possible). At the minute I pay around £6.90 per month and every couple of months add the £5 all you can eat bolt on. Would be nice to not have to bother with the bolt on, but the only other tariffs are too much.
Thanks

  • I've had minor handouts from Three, but nothing long term. I have two "One Plan" SIM only deals and didn't get any discount, indeed they went through the nonsense of running a second credit check when I added the second SIM deal... even though I was an existing customer!

When they fouled up a number swap from a 3 PAYG to "One Plan" they gave me a month for free.

It costs nothing to ask, but don't expect any special favours.

Worth a try, thanks for reply
  • I sent the recorded letter outlining my intention not to renew my 24 month One plan which was costing me about £34/ month. I wrote that unemployment had forced this move.

Its retentions department in India called today and offered to keep my existing call, text and data allowances with tethering for £15 per month - no contract.

Is their more room to negotiate?
