Have an old Sky box from when we got a new HD one last year. Kept it but but not sure why? So my question is what can I do with it? Sell? Tip? Use? Freecycle?
TIA.

I have a Sky+ version one (bought the first week Sky+ was launched to the public in 2002)
Is this worth anything ? Or just historical junk?0 -
Have a look on eBay, I bought two used Plus boxes and fitted new larger hard drives a few years ago. Plenty of people looking for secondhand plus boxes.0

I was more interested if it might be something of interest to a collector perhaps. It's fairly useless as a decoder these days, it'll still receive (and record) Sky, but it's stuck with the old EPG which is not supported or updated anymore.Have a look on eBay, I bought two used Plus boxes and fitted new larger hard drives a few years ago. Hard to believe I paid £300 for this box (12 years ago!) and £10 a month ongoing for the recording facilities!
The price paid for being an early adopter of new (cutting edge) technology.0
