Three - Cost to send occasional email?
Hi all,
I've searched high and low on Three's site, and I've read their full price guide cover to cover. Nowhere does it say clearly what it costs to send and to read the occasional email through Planet 3 (username@3mail address).
The Three website just keeps shunting me to add-on options (and understand them well) and the price guide just does not say. Going through the site map I found a listing of prices of services, and under 'send and receive' it says that it's 10p to send a small email and free to read a small email, but that the 'free to read' offer expires on 31/07/06!!! Hard to know what applies now since this 'offer' expired almost a year ago.
Can anyone shed more light on this?
thanks!

as far as i know its still free to receive email (all sizes) and its still 10p to send a small mail via 3mail. not 100% sure on either of these, so you might want to verify it with 3, if you are on a contract you can always ring 3 customer service for free.
one thing i just discovered is that users on a 3 contract can use yahoo mail (Sending and receiving) for free on their phones, just go to the internet page, then yahoo, then login and you should have an option to go to yahoo mail, and also yahoo messenger via your phones web browser.
if you attempt to browse to a page outside of the free zone, you get warned before you are transferred, which lets you cancel the action if you want.
btw msn messenger is also free for 3 contract users, its also available via the internet page on your phone.0
