I have 2 contracts with T mobile on one account and am waiting for one to come up for the 12mth date so I can cancel. It says on the account I can upgrade on 29/01/2014. Can I give notice now? Do T Mobile bill a month in advance?
I do not need to port the number, just cancel it completely. The last time I cancelled with T Mobile and ported my number out I received 2 different charges on my bill and believe T Mobile are the worst offenders for these charges so would thought I would ask you knowledgeable people when is the best time to cancel to avoid unnecessary charges or will it not matter if I not porting the number?
Why do they have to squeeze every last penny out of you before the contract ends:rotfl:
I would be grateful for your help.

Just because it says you can upgrade on a certain date does not mean that is when your contract ends. My wife's Tmobile says she can upgrade now but her contract is not up until April !
If you just want to end it completely then as I understand it you can give 30 days notice at any point, but they will charge you until the contract end date unless you are very very lucky.
They squeeze every last penny out of you because they are a business & have to answer to the share holders, after all you signed a contract so they are entitled to what you signed up for .0 -
Generally, upgrading can be possible earlier than the end of the minimum term.ladymarmalade222 wrote: »I have 2 contracts with T mobile on one account and am waiting for one to come up for the 12mth date so I can cancel. It says on the account I can upgrade on 29/01/2014. Can I give notice now?

Don't rush with cancelling the DD.
Apparently they have to refund you automatically if the final bill shows that they owe you: Reclaim Phone Credit0
