Child Benefit overpayment

I submitted my tax returns online few days ago. Its turned out HMRC owed me money, effectively my employer overpaid HMRC.
I wanted to reassess my tax return for last 5 years to check if my employer haven't overpaid. I have my p60 and all details. Is there any source other than HMRC to check accurately if I overpaid for any of the last 5 years before I actually go back to HMRC.0 -

What do you mean by your employer overpaying HMRC, it's unlikely they got the tax wrong, it's more likely you had the wrong tax code - HMRC sets the tax code and tells the employer. What was your tax code? What is stated on your last coding notice, is it correct (eg work benefits etc).0
