Our allotment site has a seed swap maybe you could find one locally and do some exchanges to get a wider variety
ETA I am not suggesting you take Aldi lettuce and grab all the expensive seeds but it can widen your selection0 -
I bought some seeds from Lidl today 5 packets for £1.0

In our local Sainsburys I just bought March edition of Kitchen Garden which was in a sealed bag that had Sainsburys on it. Inside were 12 packs of seeds, not bad for £3.99 outlay, I thought.
Seeds are:
Mr Fothergill's Tomato Moneymaker
Radish - Scarlet Globe
Pepper - Sweet California Wonder
Onion - (Spring) White Lisbon
Watercress - Aqua
Mizuna
Basil - Red Leaved
Cucumber - Marketmore 76
Rocket
Lettuce
D.T. Brown Parsnip White Gem
Beetroot Cylindra0 -
Dud you know you can use tescoclubcard points with Thompson & Morgan. £5 voucher equals £15 spend but be aware you can only use 3 per order. Just bought 260 seed potatoes for £5 ( postage) an outlay of £15 in vouchers!GC Feb £95.45/£1000

I just bought a bag of watercress from sainsbobs... on offer for 50p
I take the thickest stems and put them in a glass of water and they root very quickly. Then transplant them into wet compost and keep wet on a sunny windowsill. Quicker than growing from seed0
