AAARGGGHHH!!! people using my parking space

I live in a block of flats with designated parking. I came home last night at 8pm and some tw4t is in my space, they are still there now.
What type of person does that? There's plenty of visitors parking so it's not like they needed my space.
If I wasn't worried about my car getting vandalised I would let their tyres down.

I can sympathise, I had the same problem when I lived in flats. It's unendingly frustrating!
Could you perhaps get a traffic cone or similar to leave in your space when you're not in it? It'd be a pain to put it out and collect it when you come and go, but possibly less of a pain than trying to move someone else's car.Cashback / Freebie Sites I Use:

Is it obvious that it is your space?0

Is it a significant inconvenience for you to use the visitors' parking spaces? If so, and this person continues to park in your space, perhaps just a note on the windscreen or something informing them.
I know at my old house, each space had a number but it was tiny and buried in the grass verge in front of the spaces, so it was an easy mistake to make to park in someone else's spot.0 -
It only happened once at my old flat just after spaces were allocated but I just parked behind them with a note with my mobile number (there were like 2 visitor spaces which were full so no other options than to steal another persons space)
Got a phonecall about an hour later when they wanted to be out. They were friends of the people in the flat next door (who were parked in their own space so clearly knew they were allocated) but after that had no issues. We did then have parking companies but I think they were fairly toothless.0 -

£55 plus fitting. Would solve the issue long term.0 -

It's not hugely inconvenient for me to walk another 30 foot from the visitors parking. But that type of annoys me more because it means the car driver is being a kn0b by parking in my spot instead of walking the extra 30 foot himself. If there was no visitors parking I could type of understand someone using a designated parking space.
PS. the designated parking spaces have a number each, so it's fairly clear it is designated parking.0 -
I agree with marliepanda, block them in and leave a note on the windscreen with your mobile number.0

I have this problem too even so there are four visitors spaces. Possibly as my space is closest to the buildings!
However I actually OWN the land where the space is. Its on the deed of my house for evidence so I get really annoyed so I do as mentioned above. 1. Block the car in. 2. Take picture including the reg. 3. Leave note where to find me. 4. Explain they are parked on private land and if happens again will be reported to the police.
A friend of mine had the same issue but the car was left there for two days. However she phoned police and they removed it. Later that day the owner came round asking about the car and was told there and then it was parked on private land and was removed. My friend was pregnant hence why took such action otherwise wouldn't be able to park the car! Brilliant! The owner wasn't happy but should learn to read signs saying private spaces etc around the car park!
Funny enough its now rare it happens!0 -

Shall I come and park on your drive, and see how you like it?
