I did, I've actually just given up and phoned HP. The guy there Jack couldn't have been more helpful, literally took 2 minutes on the phone then called Very with the reference number they gave me and they're collecting it tomorrow

Will still be taking the complaint up with Very about their advisors attitudes and lack of explanation behind anything they propose to do and this will be the final act on my very account before closing it. Going to get a new one from Amazon who have exemplary customer service

If I was you I wouldnt bother with another HP pavillion,Ive had three and they are not made like they used to be,

Nah although the guy at HP was very helpful I don't think I will, not had a proper look yet as not in any hurry for a new one but will most likely steer clear

The fan went on my last one after 18 months,a quick google told me it was a very common problem.
The firST one is now 6 years old and still going strong despite being manhandled by children, several liquid spillages and being dropped on more than one occasion,thats why I bought the last one but ended up dissapointed.
