    My understanding is that insurers will only refuse to cover any illness which could have been prevented by updated vaccines

    Depends on the policy. Some word it as failure to vaccinate means breaching the terms and potentially voiding the whole contract. Not sure if it would actually happen, but it is a bit of a gamble to take.

    Last time at the vets with Zara a woman was asking for ceritificate of vaccinations for her cat as her insurer wanted to see the proof of vaccinatons before settling a claim for.. broken leg.

    I asked her 3 times as I thought I heard wrong (ears dropping of course).

    Yes, it was Animal Friends but ...

    Fair enough point......I don't have any kind of insurance so have not read lots of small print. I know Petplan will still pay out even if vaccines are not up to date.

    Just came back from Poland (work), will look into this next week... had a crazy week this week.

    Flew out last night, done a day's work and flew back tonight.

    Ready to collapse and still work tomorrow.

    How long till the weekend?????
