In Merry Hill this morning, signs for 3 for a pound still up. Started choosing cards when an assistant came over and removed all the signs saying the offer was over!!!! Many unhappy customers. Staff not at all helpful, infact rather rude.

Yes I got the same reponse and people around me not happy.
  • Took a trip into Inverness store today especially for the 3 for £1. Assistant said they had a lot of very annoyed customers. Staff didn't know anything about it there until this morning. They had loads left but nobody seemed to be buying. Nothing much left in the 90% off. Was hoping to have got some more of the tall mugs but ended up with just 2 of the photo frames for £1.50. Saying that they certainly were not worth the original price of £15.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

    I've been Money Tipped!
Individual cards also now 50% instead of 3 for £1 in my local.

Loads of wrapping paper, packs of cards, ribbons 75% off

Some things with 50% and hardly anything left at 90%

Got a few cards yesterday and was going to try tomorrow to get a couple I had forgotten - glad I saw this as was only going to town for this. No way are people going to still pay £1.50 + for a half price card when a couple of days ago they were walking out the door for 33p each!! And how can they justify £65 for a porcelain angel!!!!! Even £6.50 at 90% off is expensive - long live card factory and bye bye Clintons!!!!
No buying toiletries challenge - possibly for most of 2011,2012,2013,2014,2015!
    £1 in sealed pot for each UU (2011 135/500:D) 2012 have UU 130/400 (never realised I had a mini chemist under my bed!!!) :rotfl:2013 UU 156/350. 2014 UU 197/250 2015 UU 16/100

Nursing is a work of heart by angels in comfortable shoes!!! :)
  • Yes,same old story my end too. Loads of cards now at 50% off, didn't see anyone buying it either. The other christmas stuff were now 75-90% off...boxed cards, ribbons, tree decorations, gift bags etc etc.....my mom in law bought a few items, asked the lady at the till about the xmas cards and we were informed that the 3 for £1 offer were for a few days only, shame she said because the shop's not busy today.
