I grabbed 27 cards today (big family :) ) Should have been £9.00 but rang up on the till as £8.25 (not that I am complaining). Loads on the shelfs (literally racks of cards and the sales assistant said there were box loads still to put out when they had room on the shelves :)
  • For those of you in N.Ireland I was in Forestside tonight and this offer is running. They had two full aisle's devoted to 3 for £1 so lots of choice but lots buying too.

Both of you, friends, from our house to yours etc was quite picked through I guess b/c they are quite general and therefore versatile, grandmother/granny was almost all gone. Loads and loads of mum, dad, mum and dad. Lots of the beautiful art deco style cards clinton's is famous for. Lots of neice, nephew, godson, daughter, son, wife, husband etc definitely worth a look if you are passing. Large boxed cards are not included but are 50% off.

Cavallini & Co wrapping paper was 50% off at £1.50 per sheet which yes is still very expensive but this is very popular with crafters for card making, framing etc rather than wrapping. Looks like this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cavallini-Vintage-Christmas-2-Flat-Wrap-/161153629934?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Celebrations_GiftWrapping_ET&hash=item2585813eee

They had three different Christmas styles. Some christmas decorations at 75% off too.

  • Durham city centre had loads left today. I got £49.50 worth of cards for £4. Also got a singing bear reduced from £20 to £2 (90% off). I bought 3 years worth of Christmas cards in case they don't do the same next year. I love a bargain as you have probably guessed.
  • More cards out today - they seem to be restocking every day. I only bought another three as these lovely cards aren't what I'd normally buy and I just think some recipients might think think I was having a spending crisis or something! Some musical bears were 90% off, and I was just about to pick one when this man elbowed everyone out the way and grabbed the lot, loudly exclaiming they were for charity. Call me cynical... expect they'll be on eBay soon. It was definitely a bit of a scrum today - word has got around!

Our clintons (Leamington Spa) have taken all the individual cards away. Just boxed cards, candles, cuddly toys and wrapping left now.

Was in the Whitney today and thought I would get the 3 cards for £1 deal. I got those and much more - they had most of their Christmas stuff 90% off. I got a beautiful ceramic ornamental Santa which should have been £47 for £4.70 plus a Santa candle which should have been £7 for 70p, a candle holder down from £9 to 90p and a few fancy baubles which should have been £36 in total for £3.60. There was quite a bit still in stock when I left but I heard one of the assistants saying that there was only another 2 days left.
