Driving over mini roundabout - AA instructor says yes under certain circumstances

But you seem convinced they won't. They give high levels of coverage (they include legal cover for example, and so must any quote you want them to beat) but they PROMISE to beat like for like quotes. Thus to be cheapest they need to give you a discount in excess of the minimum £32 annual fee!
Plus, you know, being a better driver, statistically less likely to crash etc but who cares about that...0 -

Don't disagree. (Presumably they don't beat likle for like quotes by more than £32?)
But how does paying a minimum of £32 every year to the "Institute" make you a better driver, and less likely to crash??0 -

Yup absolutely spot on in my experience. All this talk of £30k a year, you choose your hours lures people in though the reality is far from it. Only those with no other choice would take up the job.0 -
It doesn't. But to be a FULL member, you'll have passed your advanced test, relying on people volunteering their time as observers and trainers. I think it's a bit unfair to join, pass and leave, but I guess I'm not being very moneysaving...But how does paying a minimum of £32 every year to the "Institute" make you a better driver, and less likely to crash??0 -

Al, I'm not very moneysaving either. I prefer to shop at local shops buying local products than shopping in big supermarkets/online and getting far-eastern cheap stuff.
I'm not so greedy as to refuse to give money to good causes and when something goes wrong, the first thing I do is not call a lawyer to sue.
Neither do I think it's right to deliberately park in a shop's free carpark but not use the shop, then have no conscience about it being wrong, instead encourage others to do likewise.
I'm not sure I belong on here.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0
